When I was little, my parents took me on a trip to visit Ellis Island. I took pictures of the Statue of Liberty from a ferry on the Hudson River, and not one of them had the complete statue in it. My parents thought I had trouble taking pictures. I think of it as my first foray into creative composition. I simply never stopped seeing things differently. Then, at 9 years old, I told them I wanted to be the President of the United States. So, I wrote a letter to Bill Clinton and his response still hangs on my wall. It says, “You are the future of our country and I am proud to be your President.” Those are words that I never forget and continue to be a source of constant inspiration. I am the future. And the future can be ambitious without fault. While my political aspirations have since shifted from being President to photographing the President, all roads still lead to the Oval Office. Along the way I have followed army cadets through training, watched a woman battle terminal cancer and celebrated election wins. I have ridden horses with cowboys, listened to tornado victims recount the sound of 100 mph wind and experienced the joy and agony of a professional baseball season. I have seen people at the pinnacle of success and the depths of despair. My job is to tell these stories. My passion is to be inspired. I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER. As such, I thrive in a state of constant change, seeking adventure and hoping to be endlessly challenged. I want to learn from the world and for my craft to return something to it. My work has the ability to ignite conversation, and my talents to inspire others as I have been inspired. My craft grants me a life of experience, lacking in regret. The ability to simply Do. And Do Good….. [RESUME]
